Why can’t I find the right blog?

I used to love Live Journal for many reasons but mostly because of the userpic and mood option plus the various privacy settings and tags. The only problem was that all my friends needed accounts to see the “Friends Only” posts. FaceBook is well, Facebook. So I’ve turned to WordPress. Wonder how this is going to work?
